Signe |
|
|
Hi, My name is Signe, pronounced Seena. It's of danish origin. I've been in the hair biz since '84 (Yikes!) and I still enjoy it. My preference is towards mussy, casual looks that have versatility and movement. I love texture in color as well as in cuts. Doing color is very exciting - the fun as well as the natural stuff. I like to keep some of a person's natural color on their head (even gray) as a backdrop for the color that I put in there and so that it is flattering and grows out gracefully. There is a perm wrap which I developed that gives one uneven, natural looking waves and also grows out more gracefully than traditional perms. I'm into as low maintenance and easy as one can get away with but still with a sense of style. On the personal side I help run a dog rescue called Tucson Cold Wet Noses. I live with many dogs and cats at home and it keeps me very busy. Cold Wet Noses partners with Pima Animal Care Center and we try to take the older dogs that find their way to the shelter. Our volunteers take them into foster care in their homes. We try to find them good permanent homes but older animals are harder to place so we morphed into a sanctuary. There is always some adventure going on so coming to work is a nice balance for me, plus I really enjoy the creativity involved with doing hair. Hope to see ya soon. |

Hello, I’m Ty!
(If you know me already.. HEY I’m back and I missed you!!!!)
I’m proud to be part of this unique and talented team again after a 6 month hiatus.
I’ve been a cosmetologist for about 12 years now. I grew up in my grandmothers salon and always knew this would be my ‘thing’. I believe in helping guests achieve their hair goals with an honest, realistic plan while maintaining the integrity of the hair. I absolutely love hair cutting, coloring (natural or otherworldly), and styling.
Outside of the salon I enjoy being with my family and pets. I love yoga, crafting, bird watching, movies and especially music! If you’re in my chair please feel free to share music you like and show me pictures of your pets.
Advice from a coyote: Be curious, adapt to your surroundings, stand up fur what you believe in, travel under the stars, keep your ears open, know when to make tracks, and have a HOWLIN’ good time!
